Is there a way to record the molecular attributes of a substance on the receiver? Is the software capable of this?

Depends on how you define the record.

1. The substance’s information is not a single frequency, but a complex pattern. The software has no ability to access this information and even if it could, a single frequency would be inadequate to describe.
It is like saying it is blue. What is blue? A puddle, a car, the sky?

2. You can imprint the complex pattern into another medium like water.
To do this, you would place the substance on the input coil (receiver), and water on the output coil (transmitter).
It takes about 3 minutes for the information to be imprinted into the water.
