Am I understanding correctly that GenX will house all rife frequency databases or does each program have to be uploaded each time it is needed?

So from your question, it appears that some clarification is needed on what the GX can and can not do.

The GX (like the XM) is fully enabled when connected to a computer.

There is no advanced logic in the GX, nor is there any automation.

The software contains all the data, and just issues the command to the generator when to change something like the frequency.

The software does all the thinking and performs all the automated functions that allow it to say run Terrain over an 11 day period without user input.

The generator is represented by a generator icon, and you take and load what it is that you wish to run onto this generator icon and click start. When you are ready to run something else, you simply stop it and then load something else. By load, we mean click overwrite generator and click the generator. This will take what is currently loaded in the software and mark it for use on that generator. Technically nothing is actually written to the generator. However, the software now knows what you wish to run on the generator and will handle all the details from there.

Then there is the stand-alone mode of the GX. This was designed to allow someone on the go the ability to run through a list of frequencies for application via contact. A loop button was added in case they wished to run the same list of frequencies via remote. However, stand-alone mode is limited in functionality.

When you press “Load” to add programs to GeneratorX, the settings saved in the limited memory space of the GeneratorX are Frequency, Waveform, Amplitude, Offset, Duty Cycle, Gate and Dwell.

Everything else is ignored and Out 2 is inverse+synced to Out 1.

This means no complex programs that require frequency calculations like dynamic sweeps, carrier sweeps, frequency wobbles, amplitude wobbles, dual frequency output, chained presets and more.

Standalone simply goes down a frequency list. If you wish to replicate a chained preset like Terrain, you have to load all the individual presets (15) to the generator and manually start and stop them at the appropriate times.

When you go to use the program saved on the GX in stand-alone mode, you simply select it from the menu on the display screen, hit start and optionally set it to repeat (loop). It will then run once or until stopped accordingly. You can do this for each generator on the GX independently.

However, you can not run one generator from the software and the other in stand-alone mode at the same time.
