What happens if we change 10v to 20v for the Scalar in the menu setting?

The modulation port on the scalar box is a binary switch. When there is 0 voltage, the field is on. When there is 5v the field is off.

By changing the voltage, you are simply overloading the modulation port with more energy than it requires.

John is pretty good at building the ports to withstand a modest amount of voltage that is out of bounds, but continual use of 20v may fry something.

The preset defaults to a waveform that may be using 10v in the settings, but the actual output will be 5v as it is limited with an offset.
