Would we be able to install a new banana plug on the cut end of the cable? Or try to find someone in our area here in Arizona, USA to make us a cable to our custom length? Did you have trouble finding your banana plug with the extra connection hole?

A custom cut of the 65 ft. connecting cable is easy to fix. I did this by myself, fixing an 18.5-meter cable with 2 banana plugs. If I may do a suggestion when buying the banana plug, buy one with an extra connection hole in the plug, so you can extend the existing cable with another cable if needed in the future. You will find 2 types: screw or solder connections.

And it was easy to get the type banana plug with the cross hole here in the Netherlands. Search for “SK Hirschmann Banana plug 4mm with the cross hole”
