Is setting up scalar in this setting not a good idea?

I wanted to set up pure scalar for sleeping in the B&B we’re at for the next month. But the bed is a metal frame (metal headboard & footboard).

A: If you can avoid metal, it may make things easier when you go to tune the field.

However, if you can still tune the field, then the metal had no impact. My wire runs past my metal bed frame, past all the metal of the central air and water pipes in the house, parallel to the metal railing of my staircase, behind the home entertainment center which has numerous cables and power lines, etc., and I have no issue. My scalar is wired across the house. In fact, my receiver box is right next to a portable AC and metal radiator.

I think I can conclusively say that the theory that you must avoid metal is incorrect. However, I have seen where some can not tune the field until they move their wire away from a metal source. Whether that was because it was physically unable to be tuned or the inability to find the shifted tuning point, I can’t say.

Also, once the field is setup and tuned, most of the metal objects in the field will become resonant with the field anyway.

Just to shed some light, metal near the link cable will change the capacitance value of the system. It simply just moves the tuning frequency much like putting water on the coil will do the same.
