If you have no light, you have to tune it. Can’t use the old frequency you were using when it was closer. You will probably find your tuning points to be in the 4 MHz range, with the EMF point in the high 3 MHz range. The two points will be closer together, so you will need to ensure that you tune to the higher frequency and then double-check that it is indeed scalar not EMF. In fact, once the light on the tuning test coil lights, it may not go out between the two tuning points. To test if it is indeed scalar and not EMF-based tuning when you turn the test light on the receiver on, when you put your hand in front of the lid the light should not waiver. If it dims, you have an EMF-based tune.
Currently, mine is tuned to 4.35 MHz to achieve a 75 ft run through the entire house, metal pipes, bed frame and all. In the summer, it may tune as high as 4.75 MHz, I recheck the tune every so often as conditions can change over time.
