How to modify a preset for remote to make it work for scalar?

Load the remote presets with frequencies, untick the Load Programs/Notes box on presets tab, navigate to the scalar wave custom preset (JW), click on it once and settings get loaded. Check by going to settings tab and it should have loaded the scalar wave settings without removing the frequencies.
